Our Why
We began our photography journey many years ago. Julie started developing her photography skills while in 4-H in her youth and continued to grow through journalism and yearbook classes while in High School. Since, she has attended various educational conferences, became a member of both Professional Photographers Association of America, Kansas Professional Photographers Association, and taken several courses from industry educators and master photographers to help develop her skillsets.
As she began to receive professional education, she soon realized she wanted to have a professional photography career. Over the last decade, Julie has pursued her dream of becoming a professional photographer.
We met in 2020, were married in 2021, and then the business was rebranded. King Luxe Photography was born! Helping others through the act of service with photography is our passion. Photographs are not only a visually stunning piece of artwork, but they also serve a purpose of documenting historical happenings for future generations and capture emotional connections of everyday life with those around us.
When our clients book a session, we take pride in truly learning about them and their individual desires for their session to be able create a custom experience tailored specifically to their needs.

We have recently built and opened a commercial studio and salon at 112 W. 2nd Street in Liberal, Kansas, in which we look forward to being able to expand our offerings. We will continue to grow in our skills and offer our clients new and exciting services and products.
