Meet the Artists

Jimmy King is a full-time Fed Ex Freight truck driver and owner/operations manager at King Luxe Photography. He helps oversee marketing and media content, daily operations and helps to maintain an excellent client experience within the company.

Julie King is a professional photographer and co/owner at King Luxe Photography. She was born and raised in Southwest Kansas and began photographing at age 11 as a hobbyist and professionally in 2015. She has over 20 years of experience in the photography industry, and is one of the most recognized photographers in southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. She graduated from Texas School of professional photography and has completed education in various photography related fields from Harvard University, Shaw Academy and has taken courses with industry leaders such as Karl Taylor through the Visual Education platform, Sue Bryce and many hours through the Portrait Masters, Felix Kunz education and has trained with many more industry leaders. Julie specializes in high school Senior Photography, family and classic portraiture, weddings and events, and commercial photography.  She also offers other services such as family and children photography, glamour photography, compositing services, fine art photography, retouching services, graphic design and more. She is a Professional Photographers of America member and donates her photographic skills and time to the Magic Hour Foundation and various other causes.

2026 Goals

Goals for the 2026 business year are to be able to offer clients new and exciting products and options for their sessions in our new studio location and to master fine art portraiture. Julie also plans to start working toward certifications through Professional Photographers Association.
